Under the Sea presents a selection of Carolin Dieler’s work, exploring the relationship between the human face and sculptural jewelry.

The images are created by layering jewelry over printed portraits, placing both elements in the same frame while keeping them independent. The model’s face remains still and direct, while the jewelry moves across it, adding weight, tension, and form.
